Data cited at: https://seychelles.opendataforafrica.org/aflcwfg The Export and Import Price Index (XMPI) is compiled by the National Bureau of Statistics. The Export Price Index (XPI) represents a monthly overall measure of pure price changes (in Seychelles rupees) of goods exported to other countries. The Import Price Index (MPI) on the other hand, measures pure price changes (in Seychelles rupees) of goods purchased from other countries. The terms of trade (ToT) refers to the relative price of imports in terms of exports and thus is defined as the ratio of the export price index to the import price index. In other words, it indicates the amount of imported goods the Seychelles economy can purchase per unit of export goods.
