A view on India Electricity Stats

  • Only 2/3 of generated electricity is available for consumption. Where is the remaining 1/3? It is just getting lost in Transmission. 
  • Industries are consuming nearly 40% of electricity and domestic consumption is around 24%. For Agriculture, the consumption is 20%.
  • Renewable Energy installaed capacity is only 14485MW in 2009.
